Verdict

ELLIS BOYD REDDING went for €40,000 after finishing runner-up at Portrush and the full brother to the smart Andy Dufresne, who won a bumper, is taken to make a successful debut under Rules. High City Roller started a short-priced favourite for his Clonmel debut but was never travelling and virtually pulled up. Housemartin has improved with each run though the last two have been over hurdles while Meetingofthewaters looked in need of a thorough test of stamina when staying on over 2m3f on heavy ground at Cork. Bella Bliss, beaten a head at Kilbeggan in 2020, will have needed last month's run there and can improve.
