Lake Chad was making his chasing debut and having his first start over this trip when beaten a head at Tramore and needs a stamina test. MARSHALLED was in fine form over fences last year, scoring twice. He's on a 17lb lower mark back over timber and should be ready to do himself justice. Doune Castle went up 12lb for scoring over 3m2f at Kelso and made a bold bid to overcome the extra at Carlisle while Embole, three times a winner for Dan Skelton, makes his debut for new connections.
