In depth

Verdict

Four of these arrive in winning form and Mouriyani was nowhere near her best at Naas after a winning start at Dundalk. A Wave Of The Sea made a promising start on the latter track before making all for a battling victory at Sligo and can only improve but it's LAETHANTA SAOIRE who gets the nod. Jim Bolger's filly made her debut in Listed company in October and reappeared in February to land a mile maiden at Dundalk where she stayed on strongly. She has a smart middle-distance pedigree and can see off the in-form Lyrical Attraction, a Dundalk winner last month before a comprehensive victory at Cork last week though she's been hit with a 10lb rise. Aneczka was a 33/1 chance when dead-heating for a Dundalk maiden while Ger Lyons will be hoping blinkers work the oracle for Conor Hogan, who hasn't fulfilled early promise.
