LITTLE MITCH looked certain to justify good support when leading at the second last over this trip at Roscommon but couldn't hold the late challenge of shock winner The Mulcare Rover. Mark Walsh may hold on to her a bit longer this time and compensation awaits. Red Jacket was well supported at Ballinrobe, despite running out on his previous start, but could only stay on at the one pace but Spicy Fruity's two recent runs have been on very fast ground which may not have suited. Tigroney didn't stay three miles last time and is better judged on a good second at Kilbeggan while the expensive Duel At Dawn is interesting on his debut under Rules as he has a fine pedigree.
