Verdict

Dom Dolo was beaten two-and-a-half lengths by Samcro at Tinahely last month, his first start since January 2021. ITS ON THE LINE, runner-up in the championship hunters' event at Cheltenham, has won three times between the flags including at Dromahane last month. He beat Vaucelet by a length in the Champion Hunters Chase at Punchestown and the latter, who won this a year ago, is one of four excellent hunters from David Christie's yard entered here. Barry O'Neill has opted for Ferns Lock, the winner of all four starts between the flags and only beaten once in hunter chases, even though he could have ridden recent acquisition Ramillies, who arrives from Willie Mullins' yard. Shantou Show has had very little experience but was beaten less than four lengths behind high-class pair Billaway and Vaucelet at Downpatrick in May. He had earlier beaten subsequent winner Grange Island a long way at Tipperary.
