The lightly-raced ASK ANYTHING won a Limerick maiden hurdle in October and made a very promising chasing debut when narrowly beaten by Henn See at Clonmel, form that could be good enough for this. The winner's yard is represented by Macdermott, who finished in front of Carrig Rock on his chasing debut at Cork though both were a long way behind runner-up Joshua Webb. A winning bumper and hurdler, the latter has more experience over fences than most of these though looks exposed. A bad mistake two out put paid to the chances of Jumping Jet in a mares' race at Cork while Soldaro has been very highly tried in strong company and should find this more to her liking.
