COURT JESTER won this a year ago and has only had four subsequent runs, the latest easily the best of them when fourth to Might Be Magic at Fairyhouse. He looks to have been prepared for a repeat and might just be good enough. Firethorn is still a maiden after 15 career starts but not for much longer judged on his fine run behind the in-form Go Paddy Go at Navan. Gallant Oscar scored over fences last season and is reverting to hurdles after falling at Navan in March. Regal Warrior has never won over hurdles but was going very well on Polytrack at Dundalk at this time last year and is on a low enough mark to make his presence felt. Echua is a recent Polytrack winner at Wolverhampton and won't fail through lack of sharpness.
