It's incredible to find Joncol entered here as he was taking on the likes of Sir Des Champs and Kauto Stone in Grade 1 company last season. He's certainly fallen from grace as a 10-length defeat by The Hollinwell in a point-to-point at Boulta last month suggests and faces three of the leading hunter chasers of recent years here. TAMMYS HILL beat Salsify in this last year having beaten him earlier at Wexford. The latter reversed the form later in the season and went on to glory at Cheltenham and Punchestown though, like last year, he could just need the run here. On The Fringe hasn't run since landing the champion hunters at Punchestown in May of last year but generally goes well fresh and is very closely matched with Salsify on earlier running.
