In depth

Verdict

Plenty with claims in a very tricky finale. Nibiru has won over hurdles since disappointing at Killarney and Fennor Cross has also had a run over timber since last seen on the Flat and he boasts a good strike-rate. Adonis was second again at Roscommon last month while Believe In Science was an eye-catcher in a Gowran maiden nine days ago. Como Park is lightly raced and won a Leopardstown maiden in June. He hasn’t raced since but has to go on the shortlist. REGALLY BLONDE was disappointing in a Bellewstown maiden last month but was just beaten here earlier off a 2lb higher mark. She handles give in the ground and can give supporters a run for their money. Galway winner Gonetomillgrove is another to consider with conditions having turned testing.
