In depth

Verdict

GOLDMINEINTHESKY is only seven and has had just four runs between the flags, completing a double on heavy going earlier this year. He has some improvement to make if he's to take this but is given the vote to do so. Miracle At Medinah was having his first start for almost two years when a close third on the points course at Punchestown last month and that should have put him spot-on for this while Hasty Times, who fell in this race a year ago, was gaining his fourth victory when dead-heating at that same Punchestown meeting last month. Bridge End showed plenty of promise when last seen in 2014 and Ian Ferguson gets plenty of winners around here. Pointview Gale showed his first real sign of ability when a close third at Tyrella and is no forlorn hope.
