Tyrone Tiger won this in 2013 and was having only his fourth subsequent start when runner-up to That's A Wrap at Punchestown last month so should soon be regaining the winning thread. Manuka scored over hurdles at Clonmel in October and has since won on the all-weather at Wolverhampton but ARD CREGG will take some beating off this mark. She's improved markedly over fences recently and can revert to hurdles on 12lb lower which should give her the edge. Personal Shopper is consistent enough but a strike-rate of 1-48 hardly inspires confidence. Any money for the former John Gosden inmate Mr Smith should be noted though he's shown nothing over hurdles to date.
