INTENSER wasn't at his best on soft ground at Sligo last month but has landed two nurseries in-between, the latest over this trip at Gowran. He's only small and has a big weight to carry but should prove up to the task. Liffey View was 2l behind him in that latter race and is just 1lb better off so appears unlikely to reverse the form while Enter The Priory, who was well behind, looks held. Lady Mandeville can go well as she will have found 5f much too short at Bellewstown after a decent effort over this trip at Gowran. Johnny Murtagh won this last year and it will be interesting to se if there is money for Royal County Boy, who makes his handicap debut.
