Following a disappointing debut, SHADOW ROCK was easy to back at Newmarket three weeks ago but exceeded expectations in finishing a two-length second to Tannaaf when debutant Recently Acquired was sixth. A similar effort here should suffice, though Goodwood runner-up Marma's Boy also has a progressive profile and shouldn't be far away again. Gold Prince has only beaten one home in his two runs to date, however, and Reflation may need more time. Marmot, who runs in the same colours as Recently Acquired, is easily the most interesting of the newcomers.
