Verdict
Magnification has been thereabouts in most starts but doesn't have the same scope as some of his rivals. Delegating did much better at Galway six weeks ago when only beaten half-a-length and Roscommon third Mabrouka also goes on the short-list. Ontheiflist is getting closer, though reverting to 7f is a bit of a concern after his latest second at Bellewstown. Melisandre was fancied on debut at Fairyhouse but may need more time so it's stablemate HANSIAN PRINCE (NAP) who gets the nod as he may have beaten Little Clarinet at Navan had he not been stuck behind a wall of horses when the winner made her move – he holds Magnification on that run.
