Fancy Footings has top weight due to his auction price and was sent to Ayr for his opening run where he showed plenty of potential. Army Recruit showed good pace for a long way over a mile at Leopardstown, though being drawn on the wide outside isn't an advantage around here. SHOWMETHEGIN could also have been better berthed but he made such a good impression when beaten a nose by Kestrel Prince at Roscommon in June that he looks the one to be on. The winner has scored again on the same track when Social Graces was third and the latter looks held while Festina Plente couldn't get close to Burmese Waltz over 6f at Dundalk though stayed on nicely and should progress enough to get into contention.
