Hollymount King found some improvement when runner-up to the potentially useful Face Value at Punchestown where he was only headed close home. Blue Cannon was over 20 lengths behind but has improved since to finish third at Thurles and there's probably more to come. However, Noel Meade also runs hurdling newcomer LEROY PARKER and this progressive recent Navan winner looks just the type to win his share over timber starting with today. His Excellency started a short-priced favourite in Face Value's race but ran too freely and was soon done with. He will be better for the experience and likely to finish much closer this time.
