Verdict

Dash Power’s yard sent out last year’s winner but he finished last at Chepstow. Bigbertiebassett fared better at Newbury and he’ll be fancied to make the most of his experience but some powerful yards introduce well-bred newcomers. Godolphin’s Stormy Waves is by Dubawi out of a Galileo mare but Marco Botti saddled the winner of this in 2021 and gives a debut to Golden Horn’s half-brother AL MOOTAMARID, who gets the nod. Arabic Legend is a full brother to Youngest, who won on debut last year, while Grecian God’s stable has already had several two-year-old winners this season.
