Verdict

Foreseeable Future won at Ayr and Ripon last month while Captain Vallo made a promising reappearance at Thirsk. He was poorly drawn that day but still has two-and-a-half lengths to make up on BARNEY’S BAY and is only 3lb better off. Tim Easterby’s charge has since run well in a higher grade at the same track. Asadjumeirah has been getting closer but was behind Okeanos on the all-weather in the spring. The bottom weight should go well here with Elle-May Croot taking off 7lb but Brazen Idol may need this. Crypto Quest won over track and trip at the start of the month but failed to handle a 4lb rise at Pontefract nine days later.
