Four of today's runners return from racing in Dubai, though none were successful. Last season's Ayr Gold Cup winner Captain Ramius will handle the likely going and so will Confessional, but Hitchens would prefer a faster surface and Humidor is better over the minimum trip. JACK DEXTER can be forgiven a below-par run over track and trip at the end of last season as Jim Goldie's charge had won five times earlier in the year and was probably over the top. He can continue his progressive form on his comeback and is just preferred to Our Jonathan. The latter goes well fresh and has leading claims if at his best but Regal Parade is rare winner nowadays and is harder to fancy. The three-year-olds, Effie B and Equitania, face a tough task against these older sprinters and last week's winner Gouray Girl looks outclassed.
