        Verdict

        Grey Mirage was very disappointing when favourite here earlier in the month and best watched today. Van Der Art doesn't know how to run a bard race, however, while a case can also be made for course winner Nameitwhatyoulike and Sardanapalus, though the latter appeared to have no excuses at Pontefract last time. Rio Grande and Jake's Destiny have yet to win on Turf, while Ghostwriting has been disappointing this year and Stellar Express may be in the handicapper's grip now but CHIL THE KITE pulled hard and met trouble in-running on his reappearance behind Britannia winner Fast Or Free at Newmarket. That was a promising comeback and he can get back to winning ways here.
