In depth

Verdict

Skiddaw Valleys is among several with decent claims in this but 2m on good ground may be an insufficient test of stamina nowadays. Kannapolis won easily at Warwick but has been hit with an 11lb hike in the ratings. Constancio has gone up 4lb for finishing second at Huntingdon but is the only course and distance winner in the line-up. Lunar Jet ended the Flat campaign with a hat-trick but has never won over timber while Golden Town has hit a career-high mark at the age of nine. ASHINGTON (NAP) was a largely progressive sort last season and took a further step forward when third at Cheltenham so should go close here off the same mark under a talented 7lb claimer.
