      Verdict

Newcomer Pursuitofexcellence has no fancy entries despite his 550,000gns price tag and the betting may provide the best clue to his chances while Searing Heat proved a big disappointment on both starts last year. FALKLAND looks a safer proposition as he only failed by a neck to land the odds at Windsor on his reappearance and is taken to make amends here. Suraj made a promising debut at Newmarket earlier this month and should also be thereabouts at the finish ahead of recent Musselburgh runner-up Torero, while better is expected of Queen's Estate as he steps up in trip for his return to action.
