In depth

Verdict

Punters may have to resort to guesswork to try and sort this bunch out and HIGH JINX is a purely speculative selection. He won his maiden at this track in June and James Fanshawe has his yard in fine form so he looks to have as good a chance as any of the others making their seasonal debuts. They include last year's dual winner War Poet, who's been hurdling, along with maiden winners Danadana and Purification while King's Warrior is also interesting on his first start for Peter Chapple-Hyam having won in France last year. Scrapper Smith scored twice over today's trip in the autumn and you can throw Little Rocky into the mix with Paul Hanagan on board. Mirrored dead-heated for first place at Pontefract on his return when just getting the better of the re-opposing Northside Prince and that pair are others with decent claims.
