JONNY MUDBALL seems to have plenty left to offer after just handful of starts so we give him the vote ahead of the hat-trick seeking Kaldoun Kingdom with Fantasy Explorer also making plenty of appeal. The pick promptly built on a promising debut at Windsor over this trip to score in Lingfield maiden two starts ago. There was a lot to like about his handicap debut when finding just the one too good at the same venue last time and now just a pound heavier he should improve again and go one better. This is the optimum trip for Kaldoun Kingdom who has recorded all four career wins over it. He was impressive enough in scoring in a similar race at Ascot last time so if in the same form after a break he should be capable of a challenge off this mark. Fantasy Explorer has held his form well since getting up at Kempton in October and having only missed out narrowly of this mark on his last run he has every chance. Hotham put in a bold bid under a penalty the last time we saw him so with a pound removed he is also on the list while Pavershooz has ability but looks a little high in the handicap. More competitive stuff with Jonny Mudball given the vote on the basis on what might be left to come.
