Inherent gets the call in an interesting bumper ahead of City Of Manchester and Sandysnowing. It is hard to escape the claims of Inherent, a 30,000 guineas purchase who is a well-bred son of In The Wings. Third on his Towcester debut to what is probably a reasonable performer, we are happy to give him the vote. The Dandy Nicholls-trained City Of Manchester catches the eye. A 24,000 guineas purchase, the trainer does not have too many runners at this level and he has to be respected. Howard Johnson's 200,000 euros purchase Sandysnowing also catches the eye, while Taras Knight cost 30,000 euros and has something to like on breeding. Bought back for 20,000 guineas at the sales, Celtic Realm is bred to be better than his bumper debut suggested, while Mick Easterby's Cheer Us On is one to have a look at in the betting. Burnt Oak was a fair third to Programme Girl on her debut (Hardknott was fifth) and this cheap purchase might go well, but for the selection we return to Inherent.
