In depth

Verdict

We'll shortlist Potts Of Magic, High Country and Waynesworld and select Potts Of Magic. Potts Of Magic has to be considered as he followed a Worcester success with a narrow Wetherby defeat and he could yet have better to come. After winning at Sedgefield, High Country was then a little disappointing at Hexham last time. However, if you can forgive that, he could get into the shake-up. Stepping up in trip, do not rule out a good show from Welsh Dane, while Waynesworld is not badly weighted based on his improved chasing form of late so is respected. Tickateal now has something to prove following a Huntingdon defeat, while Qualitair Pleasure has risen in the weights after some fair runs, so has a bit more to find in terms of winning today, while Lorio du Misselot showed improved form when stepped up in trip when second at Musselburgh yesterday but, for the selection, we return to Potts Of Magic.
