    Verdict

Dorset Cream was made favourite at Nottingham last month after a promising run at Newbury but was very disappointing. Alzammaar has been raised a pound since his third at Sandown and is proving hard to place. Blinkers will need to bring about some improvement and Innocent Touch appears to be treading water off his current mark. That Be Grand beat subsequent Beverley scorer Chivers at Redcar in May but both are up a grade for this. MICRAS is virtually guaranteed to appreciate a further step up in trip after his latest fourth at Lingfield and can make a winning start in handicaps.
