GRANNY ROZ won a maiden in soft ground last season and subsequently went close in handicaps on a couple of occasions including over 5f here. David Barron’s filly should be sharper for last month’s comeback run at Ripon and can turn the tables with fourth-placed Socialites Red. Pulsating has done all her winning on the all-weather so far but Maureb won in a higher grade at Catterick last summer albeit on fast ground. Sitar has won over the minimum trip at Nottingham but has something to prove over today’s distance.
