FATHER OF JAZZ returned a beaten favourite in the Winter Derby last month and drops down to a mile for the first time. But he still has plenty of scope and given Roger Varian’s yard has won three of the last four renewals, he gets another chance in an open Listed race. Space Traveller raced only once last year though won a Group 2 back in 2019 while Montatham landed a valuable handicap at York last summer when Top Rank finished a length behind in third.
