      Verdict

A difficult getting out contest with the vagaries of the draw further complicating matters and stakes are advised to be kept to a minimum. Stewards Cup hero Bond Boy has proved a real moneyspinner this term but now looks high enough in the weights judged on recent evidence while Lisianski has been crucified for a five-length victory at Catterick last time and is set to struggle off a 12lb higher mark. Marginal TEAMtalk preference is for Artie who had Blue Velvet (third), Good Girl (fourth), Compton Dynamo (seventh) and Gdansk (eighth) all behind when runner-up behind Repertory in a similar event at Newmarket earlier in the month and can confirm the placings on his favoured surface.
