War Poet is in decent form but this is surely too sharp for Brian Ellison's charge, though he did finish ahead of Hefner and Karaka Jack over 1m2f at York last time. Naaz won't mind the ground but looks too high in the weights now, as does Sound Advice. MELVIN THE GRATE was favourite at Windsor earlier this month but, though staying on, ran out of time to close down the leaders. This looks a good chance to make amends, though Fazza will appreciate dropping back to a mile.
