Huge fields are certainly the order of the day here and this is another very tricky puzzle to solve. Ile De Re won the Chester Cup and Northumberland Plate off higher marks in 2012 but the grey has had his problems since. Gabrial's King, Very Good Day and Lady Kashaan all ran in the Cesarewitch. There wasn't much between the trio but Novirak makes more appeal having finished third in a Listed race at Newmarket last month. Almagest has only gone up a couple of pounds since a narrow victory at Ripon while the three-year-olds Spectator and Last Echo make some appeal from the foot of the weights. The latter steps up in trip but Cam Hardie's claim will aid her cause. Linguine has already won here this year and stays this trip but the lightly-raced NORWAY CROSS is more progressive and can follow up her recent win at Windsor off a 5lb higher mark.
