This is just the type of race in which Mass Rally excels but he's not managed a win here in 11 previous attempts. He's scored off a higher mark, however, and Ashpan Sam is back on a winning mark but the ground may be too fast for Colonel Mak and Jamaican Bolt. Englishman's win at Haydock also came on soft going but he still makes more appeal than the other penalised runner, Doc Hay. BOGART's run behind Muthmir here in the Portland was a terrific effort. He's only a pound higher and it wasn't Amy Ryan's fault that he got tangled up in the stalls at York last time. He gets the nod ahead of consistent three-year-old Red Pike and Great St Wilfrid fifth Pipers Note. Khubala could be the pick of the remainder.
