Hubertas is in decent form but is still 14lb higher than for his last win. Hurry Home Poppa won on quicker going over track and trip earlier this month but was beaten by Rock On Bollinski at Redcar on soft ground in the autumn, though there shouldn't be much between the pair on today's revised terms. We're going to stick with DEW POND as the ground has come right again for Tim Easterby's Motivator gelding, who escapes a penalty having been driven clear by Rachel Richardson in an apprentices' race here 12 days ago. Jam Session won a bumper here in November and is still unexposed so could run well and Zenafire is another to consider in an open-looking handicap.
