Malcolm Jefferson must have been delighted by Uppingham's run behind Diamond King over 2m here earlier in the month and the extra half-mile should suit. Dakar Run is proving expensive to follow but is another who might find this longer trip more to his liking while Accordingtojodie and Jimmy The Jetplane are among those open to plenty of improvement. Rainbow Peak was a very classy sort on the Flat but beaten 20 lengths on his hurdling debut at Catterick. CALL ME VIC, a winning pointer, galloped his rivals into the ground in a Warwick bumper on New Year's Eve and looks a really nice prospect. He gets the nod ahead of Sergeant Thunder, another bumper winner, and Broadway Symphony. Bodega was staying on when falling here last month and looks the pick of the remainder.
