A wide open affair gets proceedings underway in which many can be given chances on there best form. Mythical King won well at Uttoxeter last time out when defeating Hasty Prince, and although the gelding from the Richard Lee has a penalty to overcome he will be hard to beat with conditions again in his favour. Subiaco finished third in a group 3 contest when last seen on the flat and if he can show an aptitude for hurdling he would be a danger to all. The gelding is from the Barney Curley yard and any market confidence would be significant. Valeureux is also worthy of consideration after a fair third behind Spree Vision at Newcastle last time out but he may need to improve again to score. Saxon Mill was third behind Beaver Lodge last time and is proven on the ground he could run well at a big price. Demi Beau was a fair performer on the flat and is from a shrewd yard and it would be no surprise if he ran well on this his hurdling debut. Danton was fourth behind Domenico at Uttoxeter but this looks a much more competitive race and he needs to improve to score. Hirapour was also a fair performer on the flat and is from a yard beginning to hit form and he is worth a cautionary look in the market.
