Verdict

Ismail Mohammed sent out last year's winner and the consistent Kerrymerry is likely to be thereabouts dropping back in distance. But NICE THOUGHTS went close on his handicap debut over today's distance at Haydock and is just preferred in an open contest. Sikandar and Dasaateer are others to consider after placed efforts in maidens and make more appeal than Belle Travers while Muhaafiz is not out of this stepping up from a mile as breeding suggests the extra distance should be within his compass.
