Verdict

It’s more than a year since Mikmak last ran over this trip but the recent Pontefract third, the senior runner in this, should be suited. Tim Easterby may have stronger claims with the Leicester winner KENTUCKY KITTEN, however, as William Buick retains the ride on the consistent three-year-old. Mafia Power has proved difficult to place and can be a tricky ride but he is on a fair mark at present so shouldn’t be far away while a case can also be made for Rainbow Jet and Maxine. The Nu Form Way has only gone up a pound for getting off the mark at Nottingham so also goes on the shortlist.
