This handicap could well turn out to be a tactical affair with only five runners going to post, and Trew Class and Eboracum are the pair we like with the vote going to Trew Class. There has been plenty to like about the way this filly has gone about her racing so far, and she has showed a good attitude to win her last two races. She tackles a handicap for the first time here and with conditions to suit she is given the nomination. Eboracum was a good second last time behind Keeper's Lodge at Haydock. She is in good heart at present but would probably prefer a bit more cut in the ground and for that reason she is passed over. Serramanna has certainly got ability but she has been hugely inconsistent so far and she can not be backed with any confidence. Appetina is beginning to look a little exposed so she too is overlooked on this occasion. Rio De Jumeirah has got ability but she is beginning to look tripless, and we will return to Trew Class as the one they all have to beat.
