Pirate's Treasure showed good progress on the all-weather over the winter and bids for a four-timer off a 6lb higher mark. Walsingham Grange won a lower grade contest at Nottingham recently and Jarir scored at Lingfield in January. Nessita, Red Verdon and Ban Shoof all won their respective maidens on their latest starts with the latter's victory at Wolverhampton the most recent form. PALING is another maiden winner but also ran well on his handicap debut at Lingfield at the start of the month. With first-time headgear fitted and this longer trip likely to suit, Roger Charlton's colt gets the vote.
