Verdict

Injun Sands went close at Kempton last month but has yet to score on Turf and the same comment applies to Spiritoftomintoul, third at Wolverhampton last time. PERCEUS (NAP) won over 1m4f in soft ground at Goodwood last year and has been successful over hurdles since. Today's trip should not be a problem for James Eustace's charge and he's preferred to another hurdles winner in Golden Doyen. The latter's only victory on the Flat so far came back in 2013 but Alphabetical Order has been in winning form though he was due to run at Beverley yesterday.
