      Verdict

      The four-year-old PRABENI built on a promising start at Kempton when beating a couple of previous winners in a quite valuable event at Huntingdon. He looked to have a bit up his sleeve that day and will be a short price to follow up here given he still holds an entry in the Triumph Hurdle. Vinnie The Hoddie won a Gowran maiden in October when with Joseph O’Brien but that was over an extra half-mile and he didn’t show much in two subsequent runs. Hurdling debutant Petitioner has won on the all-weather but is probably best watched here on only his second start for a new yard.
