Mon Beau Visage won well at Pontefract and could have more improvement in him, although he struggled off this mark last autumn so preference is for MIDNIGHT MACCHIATO. He was a beaten favourite at Newmarket last time but encountered trouble in-running and this longer trip, coupled with firmer underfoot conditions, will be to his advantage. Of the rest, Intensical’s long losing run is off-putting, Dutch Art Dealer looks better on the all-weather and while Sovereign Bounty has slipped down the handicap, he doesn’t look ready to win yet. Blind Faith was disappointing at Yarmouth but is unexposed and has each way prospects.
