Verdict

TABASSOR made a promising start in handicaps when runner-up over today’s trip at Newmarket and Charlie Hills' filly looks up to scoring off her current mark. She’s less exposed than Moll Davis though the latter ran well in a higher grade at Goodwood last time and can race off a similar mark today. Proton won a maiden at Carlisle in between poor efforts in novice races and goes handicapping for the first time but Jupiter Road has a bit to prove over this far and Kingson looks no nearer winning despite a slide down the weights.
