Verdict

Go Conquer was third when favourite for a Grade 3 at Ascot earlier this month, a race he’d won 12 months earlier, but he looks a few pounds too high at present. Lofgren appears to have two ways of running and Straidnahanna is hard to catch right but Midnight Shot faces a more suitable test after a run over the cross-country fences at Cheltenham. O O SEVEN hasn’t won for a while but was highly tried last season and has wind surgery since his last run in April. He has the class to defy top weight and is unlikely to fail through lack of fitness.
