        Verdict

        Several powerful stables have runners in this fillies’ maiden. Marco Botti runs two with Hollie Doyle on board Marie Ellen, who was second on soft ground at Leicester, but Richard Hannon’s Circe also made a promising debut when third at Sandown. MORNING LIGHT is a half-sister to five winners and Ralph Beckett’s two-year-olds are always worth a second look here. The booking of Ryan Moore suggests she is ready to roll. Shakeela is the first foal to race of a Grade 2 winner in Australia while the Gosdens’ Stifling is likely to know her job. Lasting Love is a half-sister to a winner but she is bred for much further.
