As a speculative pick, we'll go for Fareer to come out on top, ahead of Secret Venue and Aegean Warning. Ed Dunlop's colt was 3rd in his only other outing at Goodwood last month, and will undoubtedly have come on for that. A son of Bahamian Bounty, he's been bred to sprint; his half-brother Monsieur Boulanger has been a multiple winner at this kind of distance. It shouldn't be long before he's a visitor to the winner's enclosure. The other two on our shortlist have also seen a track before; Secret Venue was a good second over the minimum trip at Beverley last month; he'll look to come off the pace, and racecourse experience will be valuable for Jedd O'Keefe's gelding. Aegean Warning is Kevin Ryan's only runner of the day, and again a previous run could be the springboard for success. Watch the market for any moves as, as there's little form to go on, but marginal preference is for Fareer
