In depth

Formwatch

Teyaar Is well in on his best form but he has become very disappointing of late.

Prince of Blues (IRE) Has become very disappointing of late, but if he put his best foot forward he could go well at big price.

Sharp Hat Is a course and distance winner who has been in good form of late but he is creeping back up the handicap and others preferred.

Flak Jacket Is a Goodwood specialist who has been in good form of late and is from a very shrewd yard; watch the market.

Delegate Has been in good form of late top jockey booked; watch the market.

Fearby Cross (IRE) Has been consistent of late but has been campaigned mainly at 6f of late; chance if enjoying step down in trip.

Deceitful Another stepping down in trip and will have to be at his very best to land this.

Sir Sandrovitch (IRE) Speed specialist who would go close if back to his best; would not want it too soft.

Laurel Dawn Ran a cracker over this course and distance earlier this year but that was on fast ground; not at his best of late and others preferred.

Soba Jones Generally consistent and goes on any ground; excellent chance of recording third win of season.

Lisianski (IRE) On four-timer; good effort last time and is improving with every run but trainer is out of sorts.

American Cousin Consistent sprinter; goes on any ground and trip will suit; has chance but trainer not in the best of form.

Pipadash (IRE) Fantastic effort last time at Haydock to win competitive handicap; on the upgrade and will take all the beating.

Brecongill Lad Has not been as effective since joining current stable and is best left alone here.

Spy Master Trainer in no sort of form and horse outclassed.

Czar Wars Stepping down in trip for the first time for a long time and looks likely to struggle.

Kingscross Promising effort last time out for this lightly-raced horse; stable retired sprint star yesterday so it would be fitting if this gelding could replace him; live chance at fancy price.

Tancred Times Would prefer the ground not too soften but is in excellent heart at present and will go very close today.

Petongski Fair form but looks out of depth here.

Speedy James (IRE) Suited by any surface but can be inconsistent; chance if back to best but not one to rely upon.

Anthony Mon Amour (USA) Ran a stinker last time and will need to show he is back to his best to be backed again with confidence.

Talbot Avenue Poor run last time out but previous efforts would give him an outside chance.
