This looks hugely competitive, and from a massive field, we'll side with BINIOU in preference to Excusez Moi and Internationaldebut. Robert Cowell's gelding is one of three sharing joint top-weight status, the others being Excusez Moi and Barney McGrew. Dropped in trip last time out for his seasonal opener he won well at Thirsk, but now returns to six furlongs, which is a positive. He's got a low draw to overcome, and doesn't always put in good back to back races, but he's started this season as well as any here, as he gets ready for Ascot. Excusez Moi met trouble in running last time out; he's been winning every other race recently, and that sequence suggests today could be his day. He's won off a higher mark than this previously, and Ruth Carr is going well at the moment. Internationaldebut always shows a game attitude and won well over the minimum trip in a better race at York last month, since when he's not been able to repeat the performance. He's due to go to Ascot too for the Wokingham, along with the selection, Biniou.
