Short priced favourites have made a habit of winning this race, and this time around we fancy John Gosden's BRISBANE in preference to Tamanaco and Dear Mr Fantasy. Brisbane's shown up nicely in his two runs to date, improving from running green on debut to finish second after playing up at the start. He's got some decent entries for later in the summer, including the Newbury Super Sprint, and looks to be capable of further improvement. Neither Tamanaco or Dear Mr Fantasy are well drawn. They're both having their second run; Tamanaco was third on debut after being slowly away. Another winner's already come out of that; he's Tim Walford's only runner on the card, and should be involved if he doesn't bungle the start. Dear Mr Fantasy is entitled to improve too from debut, and although a cheap purchase and without any major entries, looks as though he could have a nice career. Market moves should be watched here, particularly if there's any support for either newcomer Russian Davis or Lady Lefroy, but our support goes to Brisbane.
